Facility Description
Bayside Marin provides residential and outpatient drug, detox, and alcohol abuse treatment in an atmosphere of health, serenity, and luxury. We are committed to providing respectful and confidential treatment to our clients and their families. Addiction counseling and therapies are provided by master's level professional staff and provide holistic programs for long term physical, physiological, behavioral, social and spiritual recovery.

Treatment Philosophy
Our multi-disciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified addictions counselors, nutritional counselors, physical trainers, body-workers, and other treatment specialists all work together to assure that each client receives the utmost in quality care. We believe that treatment need not be punitive, humiliating or degrading, and in fact should be nurturing, empowering and healing. We believe that long-term Recovery should support healing Biologically, Psychologically, Socially and Spiritually, and The Bayside Model reflects that belief.

Family Program
There are many opportunities for family to be involved in treatment. At Bayside Marin we believe that family involvement is an important factor in influencing positive treatment outcomes. With client consent family members are encouraged to attend the Family Program the first and third Saturday of the month. We also provide private individual Couples and Family therapy as needed throughout the course of treatment. Family members are also involved in the Discharge Planning and the Relapse Prevention portion of the program.

12 Step Involvement
At Bayside Marin we believe that the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous are very effective for many people, however not for everyone. We understand that it is a crucial component of long-term sobriety to develop a strong sober support system. We do not teach the 12 Steps during the course of treatment but we do take clients to Self Help Support Group meetings several times per week during the course of their treatment. The meetings may be AA, NA, Life Ring or SMART Recovery. No clients are forced to go to any of these meetings.
